Randy Guss

Randel Z. Guss was born March 7th, 1967 in Michigan.  He moved to California when he was four, along with a brother, Sean.  Married to wife Heather since August 1994 and they have a son named Caleb (born September 16th, 1996).  He is Lakers fan, writes with his right hand, and his father-in-law is (was?) a Hells Angel!  Way back in Toad's early days, they performed a song entitled "the Ballad of Randy Guss" in which Randy and Todd swapped instruments, Randy sang back-up and Glen crooned, "He's in a band with Todd, Glen and Dean Dinning... He smokes Marlboro reds... but tonight it's Camel Filters... Tonight.. Tonight... Tonight.. it's Camel Filters..." The song is all about Randy and his love of smoking. Light-hearted in nature and silly, the song fits him quite well.  Randy is a drummer (Toad, Lapdog, Charttoppers, Stegasaurus, the list goes on), but he also did some managing once Toad first broke up.  He is currently a member of Lapdog (but wasn't the official drummer in the band until fall 2000) around the time that "Near Tonight" was released.

Apologies to Randy for his bio being so short... but I just don't have much information on him at all!!
